Product Specialist

Location: Birmingham, UK (with lots of UK travel) Would consider home based 

This growing parking software company which operates in a 24/7 environment across many major UK airports are looking for a Product Specialist! We are reinventing the way operators view their parking assets and are already emerging as the UK market leader – we want to welcome on board a Product Specialist that can help to nurture new users and work with our current customers to help promote best practice

The Role

You’re our Product expert; you’ll be able to explain and demonstrate the value of our solution and drive product advocacy across all levels of our customers business.  You will build strong, long lasting relationships and will be on hand to provide guidance, support and problem-solving ability to ensure our customers are using the solution to its full potential.  

Reporting directly into the Managing Director, you will have a proven track record of being both a Product and Customer advocate.  You will have experience of improving customer satisfaction whilst effortlessly working with technical solutions and operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Become the product guru, understanding how the product benefits customers and being the ‘go to’ point of call for all functionality
  • Own the overall relationship with our users; maximising the benefits they achieve, increasing satisfaction and ensuring retention
  • Establish the critical goals of our customers and keep returning to ensure we continuously deliver against their criteria
  • Build a trusted adviser style relationship with our customers
  • Manage escalations and attend contract review meetings
  • Monitor agreed SLA’s and provide prompt reports
  • Assist in sales pitches for both new clients and new functionality

Profile

  • Proven history of increasing customer satisfaction
  • Strong customer management skills – at ease conversing at all levels (including Director level positions)
  • An articulate individual with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Self motivated and disciplined – able to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of documenting business processes
  • At ease identifying priorities and acting on them
  • Loves tech and keeps up to date with new industry developments
  • Experience working in a software development environment
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Experience of the parking / logistics industry would be an advantage
  • Full clean driving licence
